Webmaster news/notes

Happy Spring everyone! Gardens are going in, short sleeves are coming out, and I don’t have to hear every day about how I shouldn’t be wearing shorts in the winter!

There are a few pieces of news/notes that everyone should be aware of, so let’s start the list:

1: Our final raise on our current contract will go into effect on 6/12, and we will see it on the first of July. It is 2.5%, the same as last year.

2: Right along those lines… another question I get asked often is when our contract will expire. Well… That is coming up quick, it will expire on March 31, 2023 at midnight. I have added a countdown timer on the front page of the website, if you’re looking on your phone you will have to scroll all the way to the bottom.

3: Last month we elected our new Secretary/Treasurer. Jessica Hammer will remain in office until our next Local Election in the fall of 2023. Congrats Jessica!

4: Our meetings have resumed AT THE HALL instead of Zoom only. We will still offer the Zoom option, so if you do not get that email monthly, please email [email protected] to be added to the distro list.

5: In case there’s confusion, Curt (me) is remaining involved as webmaster/social media czar/Zoom guru.
